Our approach
The website is designed with the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility principles in mind. Keyboard operation, readable content, responsive layouts, alternative text and reduced motion are included in the review. This is an ongoing effort and is not a claim of independent certification or guaranteed compatibility with every assistive technology.
Exploring the gallery
Each gallery photograph has a concise visual description. Cards include a title, category and further detail. Filters narrow the collection and announce the result count. Open a photograph to view the complete image, descriptive notes and its position in the chosen collection.
Previous and Next stay within your selected category. Left and right arrow keys work inside the viewer; Home and End move to the first or last image in that collection. Escape closes the viewer. Descriptive style links open a dedicated page with the photograph and its details. Older numbered photo links still open the gallery viewer.
Motion & cursor choices
Operating-system reduced motion is respected. The website preference can also remove smooth scrolling and animated transitions. The introduction can be skipped and does not automatically repeat during the same browser visit.
Use Cookies & preferences to choose the standard system cursor or save a motion preference. Touch devices keep native touch controls.
Using the location information
The address is available as text. The street map supports keyboard panning and has labelled zoom and centre controls. You can disable it in Cookies & preferences. The Get directions link opens Google Maps separately. If the map is difficult to use, call Laura for help planning your visit.
The website does not make a promise about step-free studio access, parking or other arrival facilities. Please discuss any access requirement with Laura before travelling.
Tell us what would help
Email ldhairprofessional@gmail.com or call 07947 565665 if a page or task is difficult to use, or if you need information in another format. If possible, include the page address, what you were trying to do, the problem and the browser or assistive technology you used. You do not need to disclose a disability or diagnosis.
Review & limitations
This revision is being checked with automated accessibility rules and manual browser, keyboard, focus, zoom and reduced-motion tests at desktop and phone sizes. Automated results alone do not establish WCAG conformance. Physical-device and screen-reader combinations should continue to be reviewed with users.
