My journey in hairdressing began at just 16 years old when I started my apprenticeship at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon.

What followed were 12 incredible years of learning, developing and immersing myself in an industry that I would come to love and dedicate my life to.

During my time at Vidal Sassoon, I progressed into education, eventually heading up their Classic Courses, the renowned 9-month Diploma programme and much more.

Being part of such an influential educational environment gave me an exceptional foundation in precision cutting, technical ability, creativity and the importance of understanding the fundamentals of hairdressing.

Those formative years shaped not only the hairdresser I am today but also my passion for sharing knowledge, developing talent and continually pushing creative boundaries.

From there, my career took me around the world, travelling internationally and educating alongside some of the industry's leading professional hair brands.

My journey extended beyond education, giving me opportunities to present creative hair collections, create and deliver industry shows, lead seminars and inspire fellow hair professionals on both a technical and creative level.

I had the privilege of representing respected professional brands, sharing knowledge, showcasing creativity and experiencing different cultures, techniques and approaches to our incredible industry.

These experiences allowed me to grow not only as a hairdresser and educator but also as a creative professional, continually challenging myself and exploring new possibilities within the industry.

Throughout my career, I've also had the opportunity to work as an Art Director, leading and developing a team as well as working as an NVQ Assessor.

These experiences have given me a wealth of technical knowledge, professional experience and a deep appreciation for the craft of hairdressing.

I believe great hairdressing is about much more than following trends or creating a beautiful finish.

It's about understanding hair, appreciating individuality and having the technical knowledge to create a result that is both considered and suitable for the person wearing it.

My philosophy is simple:

Precision is key, but suitability is everything.

Every consultation and service is approached individually. I consider hair type, texture, condition, head shape, bone structure, proportions and, most importantly, what is achievable and appropriate for your hair.

Whether it's a precision haircut, bespoke colour, smoothing treatment, natural hair care or a creative transformation, my focus is always on delivering a professional service with attention to detail.

My private garden studio provides a welcoming, comfortable and relaxing environment where you can enjoy a one-to-one experience, feel listened to and receive professional advice without judgement.

I welcome all hair types, textures and ages. I believe everyone deserves to have their hair understood, respected and professionally cared for.

After almost three decades in this incredible industry, my passion for hairdressing remains as strong as ever.

I continue to value education, creativity, professional development and the opportunity to evolve with an industry that never stands still.

For me, hairdressing has never simply been a job. It is a profession I've dedicated much of my life to, and I take great pride in the work I produce and the relationships I build with my clients.
